TULSA — Police deployed pepper balls after a crowd waiting for a concert at the BOK Center became agitated after the show was postponed, breaking a window of one of the facility’s doors.
Police Sgt. Brandon Smith said that after rapper Travis Scott’s show was postponed, a large number of people at the BOK’s southeast entrance began banging on the facility’s glass doors, breaking one of them.
He said police then deployed pepper balls, dispersing the crowd. No one was struck and there were no reported injuries, he said.
At 6:13 p.m., a BOK Center news advisory sent to media outlets said the the sold-out show will be moved to March 26. Technical production issues were cited as the reason for the postponement.
